HAL

HAL - short for Hardware Abstraction Device - is our flashing + testing device.

How you use a HAL​

You give a HAL work the same way you give a person work: write a todo, describe the task in markdown, and assign it to the device. The HAL picks it up, does it, and reports back — you watch the todo move to in progress and then complete in the web UI.

Run HAL on your own hardware​

The HAL agent runs on most Linux machines — a Raspberry Pi, a mini PC, or a spare single-board computer. Follow the setup guide to get one running and connected to your projects.
